The Sound Tradition offers the following Returns Policy:

Warranty for the Hashimoto Products:

 

Believe or not, Hashimoto Electric does not have any definite period of product warranty.  This reminds me the fact that Sansui used to offer the “Life Time” warranty for its tube transformers, such as ones on the 1000A receiver and the AU-111 Integrated Amplifier. 

 

The current warranty policy at Hashimoto is that they will test the product being returned, and if they find any manufacturing defects on the returned product, they will replace it with a new one.  Therefore, our policy at the Sound Tradition for Hashimoto products is,

 

If any problems arise with Hashimoto products, we will accept your product return after you obtain the RMA number from us – RMA# has to be on the returning box to accept the returning parcel (please refer to the Product Returns below for the RAM policy).  Then, we will ship the product to Hashimoto.  If Hashimoto determines the product has the manufacturing defects, we will either send you a new product or refund your money including all freight charges.

 

If Hashimoto determines the cause of problems as the user’s fault, we will send you the detailed report from Hashimoto and explains you about the issues.  If you decide to replace it with a new one, we will offer you the same product at a significant discount price to replace it.  In this case, all freight will be customer’s cost.

 

 

Warranty for other Manufacturers:

 

Products from other manufacturers besides Hashimoto, warranty period should be clearly described on our ads.  Fro example, the 6550 SE Amp from Astor carries 7 years limited warranty.

 

 

Product Returns:

 

All our products being listed on our site can be returned within 30days from the date of your purchase with our RMA number.  We will not accept product returns without a RAM number on the returning box.  Please obtain your RMA number at support@obsinc.us or call 269-624-4681 Ext 112 during weekdays 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. US Eastern Time, or anytime at toll free 1-866-702-6973 within the US, international customers +1-269-978-8690. 

 

The product returned has to be maintained in the exact same way you have received for your full refund (original shipment and returning freights will not be included in the full refund).  Otherwise, certain charges will be applied depending upon the product condition being returned.  For example, if something has been soldered on a pole of a transformer, this will be subject for refund deduction.

 

Any freight will not be the subject for refund.
